Mendota community URGENTLY seeks assistance
Update from Linda M. Brown, Mendota Community:
Dear Friends, I seem to have caught the "bug" that everyone has been
passing along. I did not make it to the capitol yesterday or today, but
will try to get there tomorrow if I feel better. Just wanted to let you
know that Mediation does start next week on thursday Feb. 25, at 10:00 AM.
Mike, Leo, Bob and Jim are in Washington D.C. right now working on some
things we feel will help us in the long run. They will be back before
mediation starts. Representative Karen Clark told me we did make the front
page of the Capitol News, thats about the only one I know of that printed
anything on the news conference we held Tuesday at the capitol, and I have
seen nothing on any local TV new stations. I think we should let the local
media know how we as citizens of this State, City and Country feel about
the lack of media coverage on this issue. Thats about all for now. I'll
keep in touch, Peace and Prayers to all of you. Love Linda
