Dear Friends, I'm still trying to catch up on everything, I got so far behind while I was ill. Anyway I did want to let you know that about 20 people went to court again yesterday. Some of them were offered a pretty bogus deal and everyone turned it down. We are rescheduled to go to court again on Dec. 6th 1999. We are looking for witness testimony for these court cases, anyone who was there please contact me with any statements or if you are willing to testify in our peoples behalf, and I will get these to the attorneys, we really would like to blow them out of the water with witnesses. Please help if you can. The March is till on for this Saturday, this is in alliance with the North Side Neighbors for Racial Justice, over 2200 flyers have been distributed so far. The March will start at 10AM, we will meet at Aldrich Avenue N and Highway 55 [Olson Memorial Highway] we will have a rally downtown Minneapolis at around 1-1:30 PM. I,m looking forward to seeing many of you there. Also there is a Land Blessing scheduled for October 3, 1999 at 4PM at Minnehaha Park in front of the Long Fellow House. Please check the internet sites for more specific information on these events. Leo and I will be attending the National Congress of American Indians next month and we will bring much information about this issue there. Also the two young American Indians riding their horses on a Unity Ride for the three encampments located at White Clay, South Dakota, LaFramboise Island in Pierre South Dakota and Four Oaks in Minneapolis arrived in town today. This is the 38th day of their ride, they have persevered through many hardships, but they are healthy and happy to have done this ride for the people. They will also be at the March on Saturday so please take the time to thank them for their commitment to all these causes. I still owe many of you personal letters, I haven't forgotten and I think of all of you often. I will get to them soon. Some days the fear and pressure becomes almost unbearable, but I know that all of you are still out and still with us. We are truly blessed. Pidamiya, Love Linda
